Recently I was asked to photograph Swallow restaurant in Huntington, Long Island for Newsday. The owner James Tcinnis told me to do whatever I need and I roamed between kitchen where I photographed some dishes, dinning area and the bar. Kitchen is a busy area, but they emptied it for some minutes so I could take the photos. Bar was fun, it had a lively atmosphere, but dinning area was quieter. When I photograph in such a setting I really try not to disturb the patrons. I know I wouldn't want to have someone stick their camera in my face while I eat dinner. More photographs can be seen on Newsday's website.
