Community Gardens for The Guardian / by Tadej Znidarcic

Recently I worked on an article on community gardens in New York City's Lower East Side. It was a collaboration with the writer Sarah Shearman and we visited several of these hidden gems and met people who run them, volunteer or just enjoy some greenery in this very congested area. The future of these gardens is uncertain and they will hopefully not become the victim of rapid gentrification.
